As Winston-Salem’s only Soup Kitchen by day and emergency shelter for men by night, Samaritan Ministries has continued to serve as a beacon of hope and hospitality to anyone in need 365 days and nights a year and has not closed our doors in over 40 years.
We encourage you to consider one or more ways to help spread awareness and support our mission of providing food, shelter and hope through Christian love.

Create a care package of our most needed wish list items: Coffee, creamer, sugar, and laundry pods. Donation drop-off will be available Mon-Sun between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Help provide meals for the hungry and shelter for the homeless by donating to our annual Penny Campaign – your support will help provide a warm meal, safe space, and a friendly smile to those in need in our community.

Lead a helping hand by volunteering at Samaritan Ministries. We have an urgent need for individuals and small groups to come prepare and serve warm meals to our neighbors in need. Opportunities are available Mon-Sun at designated lunchtime or dinnertime hours.
